WAR and Too Human Impressions Chatlog

(11:48:41 AM) nobetterthanok: and the quest progression was awesome
(11:48:47 AM) nobetterthanok: + public quests were great
(11:48:59 AM) nobetterthanok: also destruction is the new alliance
(11:49:06 AM) nobetterthanok: when i went to try dark elves and chaos it was like
(11:49:12 AM) nobetterthanok: hordes of people

(11:50:02 AM) baal660: as I would’ve guessed
(11:50:07 AM) baal660: so yay or nay?
(11:51:27 AM) nobetterthanok: after trying 3 public quests a few times each
(11:51:34 AM) nobetterthanok: i would so far at this point declare yay
(11:51:39 AM) nobetterthanok: BUT i dont know what late game is like
(11:51:46 AM) nobetterthanok: its almost exclusively PvP
(11:52:06 AM) nobetterthanok: but judging from Mythic’s track record i think they can keep the late game up
(11:52:28 AM) nobetterthanok: bottom line, fans of warhammer will love
(11:52:37 AM) nobetterthanok: WoW players who want a better PvP experience will enjoy
(11:53:11 AM) nobetterthanok: and most importantly perhaps, time pressed MMOers who want a deep experience and to feel like they have some gravity in the online world will enjoy
(11:53:20 AM) nobetterthanok: the public quests are all about 15-30 minutes
(11:53:26 AM) nobetterthanok: reward a chunk of rep and exp
(11:53:40 AM) nobetterthanok: and you always get a basic reward
(11:54:04 AM) nobetterthanok: if you perform very well with high total heals or damage you have a better change of winning better item lotteries
(11:54:10 AM) nobetterthanok: and all PQ rewards are class specific for you
(11:54:50 AM) baal660: how is the combat different from wow?
(11:55:13 AM) nobetterthanok: its fairly similar with two major differences
(11:55:14 AM) nobetterthanok: one
(11:55:17 AM) nobetterthanok: you dont auto attack
(11:55:19 AM) nobetterthanok: and two
(11:55:25 AM) nobetterthanok: the pace is significantly slower
(11:55:31 AM) nobetterthanok: which is annoying at first cause you only have a few skills
(11:55:37 AM) nobetterthanok: but is nice as you get more skills
(11:55:43 AM) nobetterthanok: and is nice in PvP
(11:55:47 AM) nobetterthanok: cause its not like instant death
(11:55:50 AM) nobetterthanok: you have time to react
(11:56:07 AM) baal660: hmm, I would like to give it a try

(11:56:50 AM) nobetterthanok: though i want to try sword dancer a bit more
